We’ll be in the Magnolia Plaza this weekend for the wonderful Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s Cherry Blossom Festival. We’re bringing haori & michiyuki (Kimono coats, all authentic Japanese vintage), vintage kimono fabrics and a trove of hand-made accessories we made from our vintage kimono fabrics; including some lovely intricate kanzashi made by Yoko’s sister in Japan, a master-level kimono maker. We’re open 11:ooam to 5:00pm. And… If you come see us and shop, please bring a printout of this to be eligible for venue discount; please give to us when checking out.

Finally caught up the fabrics section. We’ve added mostly panels and pieces, including some lovely silks, a ‘kit’ for making a yukata(summer kimono), nagajuban roll(mock-silk), cottons for quilters and others.

We’ve started updating the fabric pieces/panels section. This means we’ve added to the 50% off page and also started by adding 5 lovely silks to top of page 4. We will be closed and off-line from Wednesday, January 11th, returning Monday, January 16, 2012. All orders received as of January 9th have been shipped. Order confirmations and replies to queries, emails etc will resume upon our return, in order received.
We are presently shipping orders but are only in the office a few hours daily. As of this post all orders submitted have been shipped. We return to full schedule on Tuesday, January 3, 2012.
