Kimono (also known as 'YokoDana' & 'Yoko Trading'), a web-based
family business offering textiles in volume, recycled vintage kimono
fabric pieces, bulk vintage Japanese kimono
by-pound, collectible and antique Japanese textiles. We also have
steady access to truly special vintage fabrics (silk,cotton, hemp)
taken from vintage kimono; we sell these in lots, yards, bolts/rolls
and pieces in our vintage kimono
fabric section.
We are proud of the fact that we have been "green" since
the beginning, selling recycled textiles and giving these wonderful
vintage kimonos and fabric a new life; We delight in the many
re-purposed uses which our customers find for our recycled
Japanese kimonos and fabrics.
Locations:
We have an office in southern Japan as well as our main office in
Delaware; we ship from the USA office. Yoko
Lewis, founder, is third generation of a family in Japan which has
been dealing in Japanese arts and antiques since the late 1800s'.

number of creative artists and artisans involved in a wide range of
work: Our products have been used by commercial interior designers
and decorators in hotels, restaurants, offices and private residences;
also we serve several international high fashion designers who incorporate
our vintage kimono into their various fashion lines; We also have
a number of textile and multi-media artists who make many things from
our bulk kimono packages or finer pieces; furthermore, we serve the
burgeoning creativity seen by small and 'cottage industry' entrepeneurs
who use vintage kimonos to make all sorts
of things.
